Lemonade with lemon and ginger
This fresh lemonade or lemonade concentrate, is a little bit spicy as there is a whole lot of ginger in it. It does not mean that it is nit less fresh, or even less healthy because you just get that little shot of energy that makes the dimples keep an extra half-hour.
5 organic lemons
100 gr fresh ginger
500 gr eco sugar
1 pinch salt
Start by grating the lemon peel into fine pieces – save it till everything else is ready at last. Grate your ginger finely in a saucepan, add sugar, salt and the juice of 5 lemons. Warm it all up slowly and simmer it for half an hour. Turn off the heat and add the finely grated lemon peel and pour into a glass or bottle.
To enjoy your juice it should be mixed with water – with or without gas. We use a small tablespoon of concentrate in a glass of water, but please adjust to your own taste. Your juice may stay fairly long as it is quite “sweet”.
